Industry — coffee & baking
Barista aprons and bakery aprons with your logo.
In a café or bakery the apron is part of the brand — it is in every photo your customers post. We build cross-back barista aprons and full-coverage bakery aprons in canvas, denim, and waxed canvas with leather or webbing straps, specced for eight hours behind the bar or the bench: pockets where a barista actually reaches, a front that shakes off flour, hardware that survives the dishwasher-adjacent life.

On the job
Working conditions for cafés & bakeries aprons.
Milk, steam, and syrup all day
Barista aprons take a constant mist of steamed milk and flavor syrups. We spec tight-weave grounds that wipe clean and dark, colorfast dyes that do not ghost after nightly washes.
Neck straps hurt by hour six
A heavy canvas bib on a neck strap is a posture problem. Cross-back designs shift the load to the shoulders — the single upgrade café teams thank us for most.
The apron is the merch wall too
Cafés sell what the crew wears. We build the same apron two ways — a work spec for staff and a retail-finished spec with woven labels for the shelf — so the brand reads identically on both.
Fabric & build
Fabrics we recommend.
These are the grounds we reach for first on this kind of work. Every option is settled on a physical sample before bulk fabric is cut.
8–10 oz cotton canvas
The barista standard: structured enough to look sharp on camera, light enough for a full shift. OEKO-TEX certified options, Pantone-matched to your brand.
Waxed canvas accents
A waxed ground or waxed pocket panels shrug off milk and water at the bar, and the patina it earns looks better every month.
Denim
Indigo denim reads craft without trying. We pre-wash for shrinkage and can combine denim bodies with canvas pockets or leather straps.

Your logo on it
How to put your logo on these aprons.
Café branding works best quiet: a debossed leather patch or a woven label at the chest reads retail, and matches the merch you sell. Small chest embroidery is the durable everyday option. Save big screen prints for event aprons and market stalls, where the graphic is the point.

Questions buyers ask first
What is the best apron style for baristas?
Cross-back, almost always. It moves the apron’s weight from the neck to the shoulders, which matters over an eight-hour bar shift. Add a divided chest pocket and a waist pocket and you have the spec most specialty cafés land on.
Can you make aprons we can also sell as merch?
Yes — this is common for cafés. We produce one apron two ways: the staff spec, and a retail spec with woven labels, hang tags, and individual polybags. Same fabric, same logo execution, so the shelf matches the bar.
How do leather straps hold up to washing?
Veg-tan leather straps should be removed before machine washing — we build them detachable with brass snaps or carabiners. Cotton webbing straps go straight in the wash with the apron.
Do you make bakery aprons as well as barista aprons?
Yes. A bakery apron is usually a full bib in 10 oz canvas or poly-cotton, cut longer than a barista apron and without the leather straps, since it goes through a hot wash every night. Bakeries with a front counter often order both from the same fabric so the room reads as one brand.
What is the minimum for a single café or bakery?
Bulk production starts at 100 pieces, and styles can share the count when fabric and decoration match. Not ready for 100? Order a single sample first — the fee credits toward your bulk order.
