Denim aprons in pre-washed indigo.
Denim reads craft without trying — that is why cafés, barbershops, and retail brands keep asking for it. Under the look it is still a twill workwear fabric: hard-wearing, forgiving of stains, and better with age. We run 10–12 oz indigo denim, pre-washed so the size you approve is the size that ships.

In hand
Hand feel, durability, and look of denim aprons.
Hand feel
Sturdy and familiar. A pre-wash takes the stiffness out before delivery; enzyme and stone washes push softness further for retail-grade hand feel.
Durability
Twill weave plus heavy yarn — denim handles abrasion and frequent washing, and indigo fading reads as character rather than damage.
Look
Instantly casual and photogenic. Mixed-media builds — denim body, canvas pockets, leather straps — are the signature café look.
Weights
Available weights and finishes.
Weight is the first spec to settle — it decides drape, protection, and price. Every weight ships as a physical sample before bulk cutting.
| Weight | Metric | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 10 oz | 340 gsm | Cafés and barbershops — daily wear comfort |
| 12 oz | 410 gsm | Retail merch lines and heavy-duty builds |

Decoration
How to put a logo on denim.
Embroidery
Excellent — contrast thread on indigo is the classic look.
Leather patch
Excellent — the denim-and-leather pairing is retail-ready.
Screen print
Good — bold single-color graphics sit well on pre-washed denim.
DTG
Fair — indigo grounds need pre-treatment and mute color vibrancy.
Care
- Machine wash cold, inside out; tumble dry low or line dry.
- Pre-washed fabric keeps shrinkage under 3%.
- Expect indigo crocking early on — wash separately for the first cycles.

Questions buyers ask first
Will indigo denim bleed onto uniforms underneath?
New indigo can crock (transfer) slightly in the first washes. Our pre-wash removes most loose dye; we still recommend washing separately for the first few cycles — standard practice for any indigo garment.
Can we get a specific wash — stone, enzyme, vintage?
Yes. Enzyme and stone washes are standard finishing options, quoted per lot. You approve a wash sample before the bulk run goes through finishing.
Denim or canvas for a café apron?
Denim when the brand look leads — it photographs better and fades with character. Canvas when logo clarity and color matching lead — dyed canvas holds Pantone colors truer than indigo.
