No machine washing — it strips the wax. Spot clean with cold water and a brush, and re-wax high-wear areas once a year. For teams that need machine-washable aprons, choose plain canvas or twill instead.

Does the wax rub off on clothes?

Fresh waxed canvas can transfer slightly at creases. We finish aprons with a heat-set pass that minimizes transfer; any residual tack disappears within the first weeks of wear.

Can you embroider a logo on waxed canvas?

Yes, but every needle hole is permanent on a waxed ground. We recommend a debossed leather patch for branding, or a single deliberate embroidery placement approved on a physical sample first.
